IN SHORT

GLHF helps companies reach, recruit and retain young talent through gaming, esports and gamification. We design employer branding campaigns, recruitment events and team training programmes that connect with the world of Gen Z, and we make the results visible: from registrations and job applications to collaboration on the work floor.

  • Employer branding in the places where Gen Z spends its time: games, Twitch and Discord
  • Recruitment through esports events and gamified assessments, linked to your vacancies
  • Team building and behavioural training with visible impact on communication under pressure
  • Evidence-based gamification, reported in language your board will recognise
  • One partner for strategy, production and delivery

WHAT WE OFFER

Three programmes, ready to deploy

Each programme has a fixed structure with clear deliverables, a set timeline and results agreed up front. You know in advance what you will get and what it will deliver.

Employer branding through esports

CAMPAIGN OR ALWAYS-ON

Become visible as an employer in the world where young talent spends its evenings. We develop a company tournament, a company clash against other employers or an ongoing presence around gaming. Major employers such as Capgemini showed with their Company Clash how much attention a format like this generates among students and young professionals. We translate that to your brand, scale and budget.

  • Format and run sheet for the tournament or activation
  • Production, casters and livestream
  • Content pack for socials and recruitment marketing
  • Measurement of reach, participation and sentiment

Gen Z recruitment programme

6 TO 12 WEEKS

A recruitment programme that attracts candidates who would never respond to a traditional job ad. Around an esports event or in-game challenge we build a talent pool, after which gamified assessments show how candidates collaborate, make decisions and handle pressure. Every stage is linked to your vacancies and flows through to a job interview.

  • Recruitment event built around gaming or esports
  • Gamified assessment tailored to your roles
  • Talent pool with a follow-up plan towards application
  • Funnel report per stage

Team building and training through gamification

WORKSHOP OR PROGRAMME

Games are a safe practice space for behaviour that counts in the workplace: communication under pressure, dividing roles, leadership and adapting together when things go wrong. Our facilitators close every session with a professional debrief, so the team turns the insights straight into working agreements. Available as a one-off team day or as an ongoing programme with progress measurement.

  • Team sessions around communication and collaboration
  • Professional debrief with working agreements
  • Venue, equipment and facilitation taken care of
  • Optional follow-up programme with progress measurement
WHY THIS WORKS

Gaming is the mainstream of an entire generation

Young talent grows up with games. Employers who join in strengthen their employer brand, build a culture that welcomes Gen Z and develop teams that communicate better under pressure. We frame it as team dynamics and leadership, in language your board will recognise.

  • Employer branding through esports works: think of major brands that use company clashes and tournaments to win over young talent.
  • Gen Z recruitment and culture: reach candidates in the places and in the language they trust.
  • Training and behavioural change through gamification is evidence-based and easy to substantiate.
  • We translate your brand into the world of young people and keep the results in view.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions from employers

How does gaming help with employer branding?

Gen Z spends a great deal of time in games, on Twitch and on Discord. Tournaments, in-game activations and a recognisable brand story make you visible and credible there. GLHF translates your brand into that environment and tracks which approach earns attention.

Does esports work for recruiting young talent?

Esports events and gamified assessments reach candidates you struggle to find through a regular vacancy. You watch their collaboration and decision-making in action, build a talent pool and link the activity to concrete applications.

Which companies is this approach suitable for?

For employers looking for young staff and for teams that want to work together more effectively. We work with SMEs and larger organisations, in every sector where attracting and retaining young people matters.

What does a programme cost and how quickly do we see results?

The investment depends on your goal and scale: a one-off event calls for something different than an ongoing programme. After an initial conversation we propose a tailored approach, with results agreed up front that we track throughout the programme.

Do our employees need to be gamers themselves?

No experience is required. The formats are designed so everyone can take part, from dedicated gamers to colleagues who have never held a controller. Our facilitators handle the instructions and manage the pace, keeping it enjoyable for the whole group.

How do you measure the results of such a programme?

Up front we agree what we steer on: registrations, participation, applications, sentiment or team behaviour. We track those figures during the programme, and afterwards you receive a report with conclusions and next steps.
